General Manager
I encounter new challenges daily. I enjoy watching the event being conceptualized in the client's mind and the reality is something better than they ever expected. The special events industry is constantly evolving and I grow with each change.
Perusing magazines, dining out to experience new trends and visit my old favorites, camping and my newest one: my son.

Chef
I really enjoy the mix between working in the kitchen and going on-site for the special events. The parties are always exciting. Because I am responsible for preparing numerous different menus per day, it is interesting as I do not do the same thing every day. I like being a part of the cooperative effort between the kitchen and then later, at the event. It is exciting to see people work together to make a client's vision a reality.
Food, of course, listening to music, seeing live music and mountain biking.
I have spent over 15 years in kitchens in Austin and some time in Hawaii. I have worked in restaurants, hotels and other catering companies.
